How we collect, use, and protect your data on Mevwe.
When you create a Mevwe account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and phone number. When you create a shipment, we collect the customer details you enter — such as their name, phone number, and delivery address — so the tracking page can display them.
We also automatically collect basic technical information, such as browser type and IP address, for security and troubleshooting purposes.
Your data is used to operate the Mevwe platform: creating your account, generating tracking pages, sending account-related notifications, and providing customer support. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mevwe is built on Supabase, which stores data in secure, encrypted cloud infrastructure. Access to your account data is restricted to authenticated sessions, and we apply role-based access controls for team accounts so staff only see what they're permitted to.
We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your cookie consent choice. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. See our full cookie usage below.
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as our cloud database provider), under agreements that require them to protect it, or when required by law.
Information shown on a public tracking page (such as delivery status and estimated arrival) is visible to anyone with the tracking link. Only include information on a shipment that you're comfortable being visible to whoever holds that link.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@mevwe.ng. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Mevwe is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
